• Enviro-Kleen is a blend of minerals and salts that operate in conjunction with a salt chlorinator to convert sodium chloride into hypochlorous acid lsanitiser to disinfect and maintain healthy pool and spa water. A softer, cleaner, and healthier pool and spa will be achieved with the careful addition of Enviro-Kleen.
• Olsson's Enviro-Kleen improves on the traditional salt pool with the inclusion of blended minerals including Magnesium Chloride and Potassium Chloride, turning your swimming pool into a virtual mineral spring.

Adding to vour Pool or Spa.

• Enviro-Kleen is a blended MgCl2, KCl, and NaCl salt and mineral substitute for traditional Sodium Chloride Salt Chlorinated Pools and Spas. Enviro-Kleen has been carefully blended to obtain softer, clearer and
• healthier water. As with all salts, careful addition of Enviro-Kleen is required to ensure correct operation, sanitising and protection of your swimming pool and/or spa.

Warning: Enviro-Kleen, should not be added to a Goncrete Pool for at least 6
weeks after filling with water.

The addition of Enviro-Kleen requires the following:

• A corectly operating Salt Chlorinator that is capable of operating with total salinity level between 3,000ppm and 4,000ppm (3kg to 4kg salt per 1000 litres of water).
• MgCl2 (magnesium) in high concentrations has been shown to weaken the structure of some concrete mixes. You must NOT exceed a maximum salinity level of 4kg of Enviro-Kleen per 1000 litres of water (4,000ppm).
•  MgCl2 (magnesium) used in water with a high pH may cause staining of the pool interior. Therefore, you MUST keep the pH of your swimming pool between 7.2 and7.6.

Calculating the quantity of Enviro-Kleen you require

The required concentration of Enviro-Kleen is calculated as follows:
Volume (m3)of Pool/Spa x 3.5 (kgs/m3) divided by 20 (kgs per bag) = number of Enviro-Kleen Bags.

Example

Pool Size = 10m long x Srn wide x 1 .2m average depth.
Volume = 10 X 5x1.2 = 60 m3
60 m3 x 3.5 = 210 kg's Enviro-Kleen
210k9's divided by 20 kg (qty per bag) = 10.5 bags. Therefore use 10.5 bags of Enviro-Kleen.

What if your pool is already salt Chlorinated with conventional pool salt (Sodium
Chlorine)?

Remember, your total Salinity Level must not exceed 4,000 ppm or 4kg per 1000 litres of salt.

• Take a sample of your pool water to your local pool shop and ask them to conduct a total salinity test.
• Over time the salinity level in your pool will progressively be diluted as rain water enters the pool or you top the pool up with fresh water.
• Subtract your total Salinity calculated by your pool shop from 4000. Example, if you have a salinity level of 3000, subtract 3000 from 4000 - you can now add up to 1000 or 1kg of Enviro-Kleen per thousand litres of water in you pool. Eg. 45 m3 of pool water. Current Salinity level of 2,800. 4000ppm - 2,800 ppm = 1,200 ppm or 1.2kgs of Enviro-Kleen for each cubic metre of pool water. 45 m3 x 1.2120 = 2.7 bags of Enviro-Kleen.

Dissolving Enviro-Kleen into your Pool and Spa Water

• Carefully pour Enviro-Kleen into pool or spa water and allow to dissolve. The prccess to dissolve may take 24 hours.
• Dissolving Enviro-Kleen may be sped up by gently brushing the Minerals with your pool brush or broom,
• Never pour directly into skimmer box or pump suction.
• Your Salt Chlorinator may incorporate a "low salt" waming light. While dissolving, the "low salt" waming light may be illuminated. Allow 24lo 48 hours for Mineral Springs to fully dissolve.

Maintenance of your Pool and Spa Water

Check you total Salinity Level every 4 to 8 weeks. lt should be maintained between 3000ppm to 4000ppm
(3kg to 4kg per 1000 litres of water). Enviro-Kleen will not evaporate or be consumed however, will gradually
dilute as fresh water is added to your swimming pool. Add Additional bags of Enviro-Kleen as required.
Do not use metal or copper based algaecides in your pool with Enviro-Kleen . Staining may occur.
Do not use in conjunction with lonisers.
Enviro-Kleen is suitable for use with Cartridge Filters or Sand and Glass Media Filters. However, regular
cleaning of your filter, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions is vital for clean, healthy water.

to the use of Enviro-Kleen. lt is the responsibility of the pool owner and or pool industry professional
to ensure that the chlorinator is suitable for use with Enviro-Kleen, the water balance in the pool or spa is
