Colour Change LED

The Ceramic Light Engine is arguably the brightest underwater light on the market and represents an evolutionary leap forward in the development of pool and spa lighting technology. The Ceramic Light Engine consists of high intensity LEDs. It is distinguished from other LED lights because the LEDs are encased in a ceramic disc which is in turn bonded to a metal heat sink for efficient cooling. The excellent heat dissipation properties of the Ceramic Light Engine enable the LEDs to be run harder than in more conventional LED lights without overheating thus enabling the LEDs to burn far more brightly than in regular LED lights.

One Ceramic Light Engine has a greater light output than a 100 watt halogen and will provide a maximum light spread of up to 8-10m at 150 to 160. This is about four times the light output of some lesser quality brands of LED light, hence, not all LED lights are equal.

At the 2007 Victorian SPASA awards the Ceramic Light Engine lights won three awards covering product innovation, best new dwcor and designs and best new control and convenience. These awards demonstrate the success and market acceptance of this revolutionary product.

Notwithstanding this formidable success, Spa Electrics have continued to improve and develop the Ceramic Light Engine further and have now released the new Multi-Colour Ceramic Light Engine. This latest innovation, the Multi-Colour Ceramic Light Engine has nine different programs comprising seven fixed colours (blue, white, green, red, purple, aqua and lime) and two automatic colour changing programs with either three or seven second intervals between changes. Multiple lights are able to be synchronised if they are operated on a single switch.

There are ten different colour programs available for use with your multi colour light. The colour programs are as follows:

1. Blue

2. Magenta

3. Red

4. Lime

5. Green

6. Aqua

7. Cool White

8. Warm White.

9. Multi Colour - STAGE 1 (All colours above blend in a gradual transition from colour to colour over a seven second sequence)

10. Multi Colour - STAGE 2 (All colours above change in a rapid succession over a three second sequence.)

Operating the Multi Colour Light is simple:

STEP 1
To step between colours, simply turn your light switch off, wait for two seconds, turn your switch back on and your light will change to the next colour program. Continue this process until you have selected your colour of choice.

STEP 2
The Multi Colour Ceramic Light Engine has a memory. If you turn the light switch off for two minute of more the light will return to your colour of choice when it is switched back on again.

STEP 3
The light will continue returning to your colour of choice until you decide to change the selected colour program. To change the colour you return to step 1.
